In the spotlight: Joe Peacock

This is a great interview and insight into a talented songwriter.


Joe Peacock is a prolific singer-songwriter from Birmingham (UK). Joe grew up in rural Herefordshire. The family house was a long way from anywhere. It was hard to get to see other children, so Joe spent a lot of time on his own. Boredom was quite a good spur for creativity and he began writing poetry and lyrics as a teenager. Lockdown has made him write more songs than ever before.

How do you think your hometown and current home has affected you and your music today?

“Musically, there wasn’t any kind of scene where we lived and I moved to another pretty unfashionable place, Stoke, to go to university. After university, I lived in St. Petersburg, (Russia) for about seven years before moving to Birmingham. New Release – Loose by Sean Buckley ft. 3 Little Wolves


Sean Buckley writes descriptive melodic electronica pieces. He has released three albums and is now collaborating with other artists to turn his instrumental pieces into songs.

“I’m happy with what the various artists that I’ve worked with have created and I’m looking forward to hearing the new songs that are currently under construction.”

This release is a collaboration with 3 Little Wolves. The release date is 14th January.

“The track is called Loose, with the artwork showing a young American soldier, during the Vietnam War.”

“I’ve not met any of the 3 Little Wolves, nor have I met any of my previous collaborators but these are the times that we live in and hopefully it will soon be time to get Loose.”
